About the product
- CREATE A PLACE OF PILGRIMAGE: In 532 Japan, Prince Shotoku, influenced by the arrival of Buddhism, instructs some monks to erect 8 pagodas. Once the 4th tajuto was completed, this place would become an important pilgrimage destination. The Buddhist monk who reaches the highest level of spirituality, thanks to deep meditation will be rewarded.
- A SPIRITUAL TILE-PLACEMENT GAME: In Tajuto, players take on the role of these Buddhist monks. Their goal will then be to spread the new religion while building several pagodas (Tajuto). The monks will then have to spend, in their actions, mediation points that they gain thanks to their constructions and their offerings.
- STRATEGY BOARD GAME: Using their action tiles, they will be able to build the floors of the Tajuto, make offerings there or even improve their abilities. Players have to combine the progression of their actions but also estimate the probability of drawing a coveted floor.
- HIGHLY VARIABLE: Game combines actions and the investment of meditation with an original tactile mechanic. The floors of Tajuto are taken from a bag and have a decreasing size per floor. An element of risk taking is added by taking bets on the temples that will end and can earn spirituality points.
- NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This fun family game is made for 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 10 and older. The average playtime is about 45-60 minutes.
