- Bond Builders: This mask now covalently bonds to amino acids and keratin fragments in human hair, including broken disulfide linkages. Other bond builders use ethoxylated chemicals that may contain 1,4-dioxane, but ours is a PEG-free hair mask!
- Ceramides: Organic Sunflower, Grapeseed and Safflower Oils are high in linoleic acid, which is indicative of the oil including ceramides that glue down the hair cuticle to the hair shaft. When the hair cuticle lays flat, hair is shinier and more manageable, porosity and elasticity are improved, and the hair is more damage resistant. This ceramide hair mask tackles damage from every angle.
- Hydrolyzed Baobab Protein: This vegan hair mask contains one of the most powerful repairing hair proteins derived from plants. It contains hair-loving amino acids Cysteine, Methionine, and Phenylalanine. Combined, these amino acids provide exceptional damage recovery, nourishment and conditioning.
- Panthenol: aka Vitamin B5. Increases strength of hair shaft, imparts long lasting moisture and helps protect hair from heat. This plant based hair mask strengthens and hydrates hair in so many ways!
- Organic Aloe Vera: Instead of water, the base of this mask is made from organic aloe vera juice. It contains over a dozen different amino acids that not only condition hair but promote moisture all day long, and it is acidic which helps keep the mask pH balanced for healthy hair.
