- Use the Yin Yang Edge Control Brush to scoop out a pea size amount of the black edge control. Comb the black gel into your edges followed by pressing it in with your finger. Use the black color toward the front of your hairline. The black edge control makes the hairline appear fuller, more youthful, covers grays and adds definition to your edges.
