- PEG-150 Distearate is a polyethylene glycol diester of stearic acid. Appears slightly cloudy in water, but clear in surfactant-containing solutions. Effective thickener for surfactant-containing products (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, face washes, hand washes, shaving creams, baby-care products).
