- INSTALLATION: Clean windows or glass with alcohol or cleaner. Measure and cut the etched vinyl. Spray glass window with water. (Pro tip: Add a few drops of dish soap to your spray bottle); Peel off the backing paper and apply etch film. Using a squeegee, scraper, or credit card, squeeze out excess water and bubbles by applying pressure from the center and outward. Dry off your window with the rag.
